Instragram tidak hanya digunakan sebagai layanan foto

Ternya Instagram digunakan tidak hanya sebagai layanan berbagi foto. Namun apa yang dikatakan oleh sang pendiri yakni Kevin Systrom ternyata lebih dari itu.

Dari apa yang dikatakan Systrom (pendiri Digg dan partner Google Venture Kevin Rose ), tidak tertutup kemungkinan Instagram agaknya tak hanya akan menjadi layanan foto saja. Nantinya Instagram akan dimungkinkan pengguna mengupload video. Bisa jadi, meski Systrom tidak menyampaikannya secara spesifik.

"Saya tidak mengatakan bahwa Instagram (hanya) ada untuk menghasilkan fotografi," tukasnya. Saya pikir, ini adalah tentang waktu yang tepat, tempat yang tepat, tool yang tepat dan teknologi yang tepat," imbuh Systrom seperti dikutip dari Cnet, Jumat (31/5/2013).

Kemudian berbicara mengenai bisnis, Instagram sayangnya hingga kini masih bungkam mengenai jenis bisnis yang akan mereka lakukan untuk membuat perusahaannya mendatangkan uang.

"Kami tidak di dalam bisnis yang membebani pengguna dengan biaya subskripsi," ujar Systrom mengenai penawaran tersebut akun premium seperti apa yang sudah dilakukan Flickr.

Instagram dididirikan oleh duet Kevin Systrom dan Mike Krieger dan dirilis pada Oktober 2012. Hingga kini aplikasi ini terus populer karena terdapat pada pada aplikasi Android.

5 Smartphone baru yang siap mengguncang Indonesia

Tabloidpulsa.co.id Gurihnya pasar ponsel Indonesia, membuat beberapa vendor global ternama siapkan beberapa perangkat unggulannya untuk dipasarkan di Tanah Air.

Seperti Samsung yang sebelumnya telah meluncurkan Samsung Galaxy S4, saat ini dikabarkan mereka telah mempersiapkan perangkat dikelas mid-end yang bakal hadir di Indonesia. Tidak hanya Samsung, HTC, Huawei dan Blackberry pun turut dikabarkan akan segera menghadirkan produk andalannya di Indonesia, berdasarkan data hasil sertifikasi perangkat telekomunikasi dari dirjen postel.

HTC 606W

Berikut adalah daftar perangkat smartphone yang akan segera hadir menjejali pasar ponsel tanah air.

1. HTC 606W

Ponsel pintar terbaru keluaran HTC ini membenamkan layar sentuh 4,3 inch 720p, prosesor dual-core 1,2GHz, RAM 2GB dan memori internal 16GB. Menariknya, kamera belakang ponsel ini dikabarkan akan mengusung teknologi UltraPixel yang serupa dengan perangkat HTC sebelumnya yakni di HTC One. Fasilitas lain yang juga akan hadir pada perangkat ini adalah kamera depan 1,6MP, baterai 1700 mAh dan Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean sebagai sistem operasi yang diusungnya.

2. Samsung Galaxy Core

Samsung Galaxy Core GT-I8262 dikabarkan akan hadir dalam balutan jaringan dual-SIM dengan layar berukuran 4,3 inchi dengan resolusi WVGA. Galaxy Core membenamkan dapur pacu yang didukung prosesor dual-core 1.2GHz yang dipadukan dengan 768MB RAM, memory internal 8GB dan tambahan slot microSD yang mampu dimaksimalkan hingga 32GB.

Fasilitas lain yang juga hadir adalah, kamera belakang 5MP dan akan dibalut dengan konektivitas WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 serta GPS. Perangkat dengan dimensi 129.3 ? 67.56 ? 8.95 mm dan bobot 140 gram ini akan hadir dengan dukungan sistem operasi Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

3. Samsung Galaxy Win GT-I8522

Samsung Galaxy Win dibekali chipset Qualcomm 8652Q Snapdragon 200 dengan prosesor quad-core 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A5. Sedangkan untuk grafisnya, mengandalkan Adreno 203. Untuk sistem operasi Samsung Galaxy Win I8552 menggunakan Android versi 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. Dibekali dengan layar Super AMOLED berdimensi 4,7 inchi WVGA, ponsel ini hadir dengan kamera belakang 5MP plus kamera depan VGA. Tersedia pula slot microSD guna memaksimalkan media penyimpanan dan baterai berkapasitas 2000mAh.

Untuk konektivitas, Galaxy Win dibekali kemampuan dual SIM dual standby dengan salah satu slot mendukung jaringan 3G HSDPA. Selain itu terdapat pula dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 dan GPS.

4. Huawei Ascend W1

Seolah tak ingin tertinggal dengan seterunya Nokia, HTC dan Samsung yang telah lebih dahulu menghadirkan Smartphone berbasis OS Windows Phone 8. Huawei pun dikabarkan akan segera menghadirkan smartphone berbasis Windows Phone 8 nya dipasaran tanah air.

Huawei Ascend W1 tertulis menjalankan Windows Phone 8 sebagai sistem operasinya. Smartphone yang dibekali layar 4.0 Inchi itu juga akan diotaki oleh prosesor dual-core 1.2Ghz Qualcomm MSM8230, kamera 5.0 MP, RAM 512 + ROM 4GB, dan baterai 1950 mAh. Untuk konektivitas selain support jaringan 3G, ponsel dengan dimensi 124,5 x 63,5 x 10,15mm ini juga akan dilengkapi dengan fitur Wi-Fi dan NFC

5. Blackberry Q10

Bicara mengenai BlackBerry Q10, sejatinya memang tidak berbeda jauh dengan Z10. Pasalnya, perbedaan kedua perangkat itu hanya terletak pada form factor-nya saja, di mana BlackBerry Q10 hadir mengusung layar sentuh yang lebih kecil ukurannya, yakni hanya 3.1 inchi plus dilengkapi keyboard QWERTY fisik. BlackBerry Q10 hadir mengusung prosesor dual-core 1.5 GHz, RAM 2GB, memori flash 16 GB, kamera utama beresolusi 8 megapiksel dan kemera sekunder beresolusi 2 megapiksel. Di sektor konektivitas, BlackBErry Q10 juga support untuk jaringan 4G LTE dan fitur terkini NFC.

Tak seperti ponsel BlackBerry QWERTY sebelumnya, pada Q10 sejumlah tombol fisik, seperti call, menu, back, dan off ternyata telah dihilangkan. Begitupun dengan trackpad yang terlihat absen di perangkat itu.

Karena smartphone ini yang juga hadir dengan suguhan layar sentuh, absennya sejumlah tombol navigasi yang disebut di atas tampaknya tak lagi menjadi halangan bagi para penggunanya. Karena pengguna dapat langsung menavigasi berbagai hal di perangkat langsung lewat layar sentuhnya.
